Creative Arts @ HSC
The stage lit up with energy and talent as Holy Spirit College wowed the crowd at the 41st annual Rock Pop Mime at the MECC on June 5! Huge congratulations to our amazing students for their incredible performance of Pilgrims of Hope. With dance and mime, they truly shined. We’re so proud of our performers and backstage crew for representing HSC with passion and pride. Big thanks to everyone involved!
Big congratulations to our awesome Dance Troupe for rocking the stage at Emmanuel Primary! You brought the moves, the energy, and a whole lot of fun with your Jazz and Hip-Hop routines — the students absolutely loved it! Last week you competed in your first online Secondary School Dance competition and we wish you all the best for the Infinite Dance Competition over the weekend.
A huge thank you to our talented Digital DJs, who once again kept the vibes high — first at the Feast Day Celebrations by the harbour, and again last week at both Sport Days. It was fantastic to see students dancing on the lawn to popular tunes and song requests. Well done to all involved, and a special thanks to Kerri Allen for the wonderful work you’re doing with the DJs!
Sincere thanks to our wonderful Music Ministry and Cecilia Hyde for leading the congregation in song at our Feast Day Celebration Mass and again at the Saturday 6 pm Mass at St Joseph’s Church, North Mackay the following weekend. Your beautiful voices added a special touch to both celebrations and were truly appreciated. The group leads the singing every third Saturday of the month — all are warmly invited to attend or join in and experience the joy of this uplifting ministry!
Looking ahead to our exciting Twilight Night Creative Arts family evening. We are all looking forward to seeing you there. Details below:

If your student would like to be a part of the fun of Creative Arts groups, it's never too late to join! Our groups welcome everyone, no previous experience required, just a keen interest and enthusiasm. See the Creative Arts Timetable below and let’s make this year a creative adventure for all!
