Full STEAM Ahead!

The Year 10 Science classes have been busily working on STEAM projects over the past 3 weeks of this term. Students have chosen a project from one of the Senior Science strands to research, build a model and poster to present to their classmates.

Some of the projects included:

  • Making a diorama of an aquatic ecosystem
  • Building an environmentally sustainable house
  • Making a model of the brain and looking at the effects of concussion
  • Building a bridge to withstand the most weight
  • Dissecting owl pellets to identify its prey

This project marks the end of Core Science as students choose their electives for Senior next semester. It has been wonderful to see all students actively engaged in their STEAM projects. Well done, Year 10s. There have been some impressive designs!
